The Winners of the 2010 John Molson MBA International Case Competition Are...

In first place is... Calgary's Haskayne School of Business! The prize was sponsored by EDC. Nanyang, Calgary & South Carolina battled it out for the Concordia Cup at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel on Saturday at 2:15pm. The final case was based on Naya Waters Inc. (Case written by John Molson MBA Alumnus Carole Charbonneau)

Calgary's coach Leo Donlevy is the longest serving coach at the competition, which certainly helped Calgary bring home the Concordia Cup!

In second place is University of South Carolina. The prize is sponsored by McCarthy Tétrault. Returning champions South Carolina also won the Round Robin award from CAE!

In third place is Nanyang School of Business. The prize is sponsored by Mackenzie Investments.

Bombardier is the sponsor of the final banquet they also designed the Olympic torch they brought one with them to the case comp.

What a fantastic story- the alternate coach from Dusseldorf volunteered to be the Coach for Nanyang's team and helped guide them to the finals! (Nanyang really didn't expect to make it to the finals, in fact they were scheduled to leave at 5pm on Saturday. Luckily the Organizers were able to help them reschedule their flight so they could attend the banquet.)

The winner of the J. Pierre Brunet Coaching Award is Pat Demouy, the coach from South Carolina!

The winner of the Richard Outcault Team Spirit award is University of Porto Business School!
