Montreal Scavenger Hunt

Location: Queen Elizabeth Hotel Lobby
Start off the competition with an exciting city chase through Montreal. Race your way around the city solving clues while seeing the sites. The scavenger hunt will be a great way for participants to kick-off the competition by working on team building and strategy while getting to know the city of Montreal. The winning team will be announced at the Opening Ceremony. Will your team be participating in the City Chase? (Only students, no coaches please)

Opening Ceremony

Location: The Bombardier Room
Join us in the Bombardier room at 17:00 to officially welcome everyone to the competition. Last year’s winning team will return the Concordia Cup and the Division Draw will be held.

Club Mount Stephen Opening Cocktail

Location: Club Mount Stephen: 1440 Rue Drummond, Montreal, QC H3G 1V9
After the Opening Ceremony come spend an evening at the Club Mount Stephen getting to know your fellow participants. Enjoy canapés and wine in this beautiful Italian Renaissance Revival-style mansion in the heart of Montreal. Shuttle buses to and from this event will run from 18:00 to 21:00.

Tuesday, January 5th

RBC Cocktail

Location: 1 Place Ville-Marie, 41st Floor, Montreal, H3B 3Y1
Wrap up the first day of competition with your fellow participants at the Royal Bank Executive Lounge on the 41st floor of Place-Ville-Marie. Enjoy food and drinks while taking in the beautiful panoramic view of Montreal.

Wednesday, January 6th

Terrasses Bonsecours Skating Night at the Old Port

Location: 364 De La Commune Est (Old Port of Montreal),
Montreal, H3C 2W3

Come skating at the Quays of the Old Port, the oldest area of the city and Montreal’s cultural centre. Only steps away from the skating rink enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks at Terrasses Bonsecours while watching your fellow participants slip and slide their way around the ice. Shuttle buses from the Queen Elizabeth Hotel to the Quays of the Old Port will run from 17:30 to 22:00. The weather in Montreal can be cold, so bring lots of warm clothes to bundle up for this event! You can bring your own skates or rent them at the old port for $7.

Coaches’ Cocktail

Location: JMSB Building: 1450 rue Guy, 3rd Floor, Montreal, H3H 0A1
While the competitors brave the cold the coaches are invited to a cocktail at the John Molson School of Business. Come enjoy a tour of our brand new LEED certified building followed by canapés and wine with faculty and staff from the John Molson School of Business. Please meet us in the lobby of the hotel at 17:30 for transportation to this event.

Molson Coors Hospitality Suite

Location: Hospitality Suite: Queen Elizabeth Hotel, 20th Floor, Room 2016
The Molson Coors Hospitality Suite will be housed in the beautiful Dalai Lama Suite at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. Come and grab a snack or have a drink with your fellow participants in this historic suite located in room 2016 (20th floor). The Molson Coors Hospitality suite will be open during the following times:
Wednesday, January 6th 21:30 – 23:30
Thursday, January 7th 19:00 – 22:30
On Thursday night enjoy a free evening to explore the city or come and join us in the Molson Coors Hospitality Suite to watch the Florida Panthers and the Montreal Canadians battle it out on the ice. No visit to Montreal is complete without experiencing a good old hockey game!

Networking Wine and Cheese

Location: The EDC Room
Wrap up a challenging day of competition at the 5 à 7 Networking Wine and Cheese in the EDC room at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. Mingle with Judges, Competitors and Volunteers while enjoying music from a Jazz Trio.

Friday, January 8th

Friday Night Disco Fever Theme Party

To celebrate a great week, put on your best pair of bell-bottoms and come boogie-down with your fellow participants and volunteers at the Disco Fever Theme Party on Friday night. Dress up as a team and strike a pose to win the prize for Best Costumes.

Saturday, January 9th

Bombardier Final Banquet

Location: Le Grand Salon
Join us in the Grand Salon at 19:00 for the Bombardier Final Banquet to wrap-up a memorable week at the competition. Awards and congratulations will be handed out and the organizers will give their thanks and farewells. This will be a wonderful way to complete what is sure to be an unforgettable experience for all!
